Walt Disney bring us Tr2n + Daft Punk!

After speaking with my friend Este last week, he informed me that Tr2n AKA Tron 2.0 was being released next year. Being a longtime fan of the original in 1982, saying I was excited is an understatement. So when I got home, I fired up the computer & logged onto Youtube and found a low resolution of the only trailer currently out. It was from the San Diego Comic Con 2008 and to verify it was true I check out the Billboard website. Very happy to find out that they are keeping Jeff Bridges in the cast from the original since he was the main character obsessed with getting into the game. Happy that they also enlisted Olivia Wilde, some of you may know her from the shows The OC & House. So check it out here...

if you never had a chance to witness their live your, here is a taste...

New guest DJ mix from Barry Weaver

I was on AIM last week when I started going back & forth with Barry Weaver. We caught up on what was going on in the West Coast dance scene and we talked about his many projects in the works. He is shopping around some music that will be released later in 2009 and sent me this new mix he just finished. You'll get to hear some Zombie Disco Squad, DJ Sneak, Herve, Jesse Rose, Boy 8-Bit, Santiago & Bushido, Audiojack & closes it out with some Prince. Next weeks post will be some very good news of stuff to look for in 2010 & 2011.

Here is the track listing:
